WEARING DENIM WITH DENIM? | CASUAL OOTD's

I am not really a "wear jeans" kind of girl, with this Miami heat it is so hard to want to stay in them for long periods of time, especially during summer time! However, I do find that denim is something you should have in your closet, a staple piece if I must say! Today we have denim tops, bottoms, shoes, chokers you name it they have it! After all, Britney Spears was that trooper who wore an ALL DENIM wardrobe for the MTV Movie Awards! You've gots to love some Britney.

For this simple outfit, like soooo simple, that you can wear this to the mall or even to grab a quick bite, I decided to pair denim on denim with a hint of a red lip. Red lips are something that I have strayed from in the recent year or so because I just felt that it didn't look right on me? Is that weird? I think it is. Red lips resemble that classic look that is known to bring a look together and I hope that I achieved that with this simple-ish look. I decided to just pair the pants with a simple long chained black purse and some nude sandals. I believe the rule is pair the shoes with the purse? Oops! Even though many of the items I used to style this look are no longer available in stores or online, I decided to link some affordable alternatives for you!
